Ingredients :
Makes 24 to 32 bars

10 tablespoon unseasoned butter , cut into pieces1 2/3 cups firmly pack lite brown sugar , divided1 1/2 cup unbleached flourPinch salt3 extra - with child eggs1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract extractZest of 1 orange1/2 teaspoon salt1 1/2 teaspoonful bake powderGenerous cupful of hazelnuts , chop coarse or pecan or walnut halvesScant cupful dry out cranberries or dry cherry tree , rough chopped3 to 4 tablespoons fresh minced rosemary leave
These buttery bar are full of tone — tart with dried yield , sweet with brown sugar , chock full of nuts — and fragrant with a pleasant surprisal of rosemary .
