There ’s a spread in our thought process when it comes to our own dissipation . For some reason , recycling banana tree skin and coffee ground is “ peachy ” but recycling sewage is “ oh heck no I ’m not doing that ! Gross ! ! ! ”
I understand , really . It take me quite a while to do around to the idea of composting everything .

The first hombre that changed my thinking on the discipline was Joseph Jenkins , source ofThe Humanure Handbook . I progress one of his “ lovable loo ” composting pail toilets and installed it in our Tennessee house for a year as an experiment . It lick decent , but had job with attracting some fly sheet and olfactory perception . Close , but not quite what we wanted .
