Aloe alooidesis a large , tree diagram - like succulent with a stout stem brood with old , dry , persistent leaf stay and top with a denserosetteof olive - green to sometimes slightly reddish leaves . It can grow up to 13.1 foot ( 4 m ) tall . The shank is usually childlike or rarely ramify near the base .
