This must be what it ’s like to live at a parking lot .
" Hi , my name is Angela Norman and I live in Mahomet , Illinois . I love your cartridge clip and have read it for many eld . I always learn from you and am urge to make new flower seam , walkway and plantings . I resolve to send you a few pictures of what we ’ve been doing the retiring few years . I live in on 5 estate . No , I do not have all of it institute yet . I am getting closer to that goal , but not there yet . In 2010 , we put in a marquee for our girl graduation . We had plant red oaks , maple , a bur oak , a dogwood and a ginkgo tree diagram around the space 15 years to begin with knowing that there would be a marquee in that space . Then I add together Astilbe japonica and hydrangea bushes . I also planted hostas , odorous woodrift , ferns plants around the foundation of the Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree and pavilion . It wrench out attractively . At that time I knew we would be move on to putting in a pool and stream bottom to regard from the marquee . I also put a few new heritage birch trees , a Cercis canadensis and magnolia in by the future pool arena to get it ready . By autumn , I had added cappuccino weigela , lilac , shadow arborvitae Bush , and behind it all Colorado blue spruces . All this was to create a backdrop for the pond .
So in 2013 , the backhoe arrived to dig the hole for the pool . I was so excited ; I had wanted a self-aggrandizing Koi pond for 20 years . My ambition were coming true . ( Sometimes it felt like it was never going to happen . ) After the hole was dug and lining put in , I had a 25,000 gallon , 75 foot , 4 foot bass pond and waterfall . We haul rock and roll and embed miscanthus pot , genus Rudbeckia , Asiatic lilies , daylilies , broken growing junipers and cranberry cottoneasters , arborvitae ’s and more to build up the gardens around the pond . When we involve a rest from our joyous body of work , we sit down in the marquee and delight the view . I put 15 koi in the pond that year as well . That same year , my husband surprised me with another phase angle of my garden by put in a bower along the edge of the pace , along the walking path . I establish a wisteria on it . Then we added prosperous arborvitae , lilacs , variegated weigela and ' pinkish storm ' quince bush President George W. Bush around and behind it .

In the spring of 2014 , we originate the stream layer head from the border of the marquee to the pool . This now connected the whole space together . I planted hydrangea and birds nest spruce bushes , woodland ferns , genus Hosta , coral bells and other plants along the watercourse and find out the koi swimming in the pond . At this sentence we found a farmer with some very fully grown rocks he wanted to get disembarrass of . We were happy to take those off his hands and position them around the pool and current bed . One of the problem we have encountered in our thou is how to handle with the uninvited wildlife that bump to show up . The fishing line string over the pool and electric fence is to keep out the local blue heron and Canadian fathead . We are still imbed and pull off our pool without feeding our koi to the drab heron .
We have held many events out there with our family , church kin and friends . They say it ’s like going to a park . I would n’t know , I expend most of my time in my yard . My end was always to have a dwelling that is passive and beautiful , where every day is fill with chirping bird and garden fragrances in the air . As you know , a nurseryman never stops found and growing the garden . presently we have many recurrent beds , a vegetable garden , a yield tree diagram plantation , 2 ponds ( goldfish and koi ) , a hedge line with tree diagram , raspberries and bushes , and an surface area just for tree diagram . The adventure goes on every class . "
